Have a difficult decision this week in fantasy football; which defense to start? Jacob Adler ranks all 30 teams playing this week and explains his favorite streamers.

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

With the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs on bye this week, fantasy owners probably do not have to worry about a defense on bye this week. With that said, there are five solid matchups this week followed by many more reasonable ones. Stay tuned after the rankings for commentary, and be sure to check out all the great content here on Fake Teams.

Three Matchups to Play

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Even with Mike Glennon looking like a decent quarterback, the Tampa Bay offense is still a welcoming option for fantasy defenses. Doug Martin and Bobby Rainey don't appear threatening at running back, but against Baltimore's stout run defense they will be eliminated from the game flow early. Once that happens, the Ravens will have an easy time limiting Glennon.

Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Tennessee has a mediocre defense and is playing the lowly Jaguars. Good enough? While last week's meltdown against the Browns gives reason for concern, the Titans have a decent front seven that should give rookie Blake Bortles fits. Jacksonville has allowed the most fantasy points to fantasy defenses this year, and has yet to play a truly good defense.

Green Bay Packers vs. Miami Dolphins

After last week's trouncing of the Vikings, the Packers are still available in plenty of leagues. Ryan Tannehill is no bet to produce, and Green Bay will limit the damage from the Miami run game if it hops out to an early lead.
