This is not a great week for picking a defense up off waivers. Hopefully, you got Buffalo, but the Bills are now owned in the majority of leagues. You can check below for more-available streaming picks. Best of luck!

Three Matchups to Play

Cleveland Browns D/ST vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Browns defense has been mediocre at best, but following an impressive performance against Pittsburgh, it's appropriate to deem the Browns an elite play against the lowly Jaguars. This does have the potential to be a shootout if Blake Bortles gets going, but the turnovers should be there, regardless.

Tennessee Titans D/ST vs. Washington Redskins

If you prefer, you may sub in the Redskins here. Playing the Titans here is a bet against Kirk Cousins, and one I am willing to take. However, I do expect Alfred Morris to be effective on the ground in what figures to be a close game.

Miami Dolphins D/ST vs. Chicago Bears

The Dolphins have quietly turned into one of the best all-around defenses in the NFL, and their specialities are stopping the run and pressuring the quarterback. That's exactly what needs to happen to stop the Bears' potent offense. However, I think Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery will be able to get past Brent Grimes and Cortland Finnegan for decent fantasy days.

Three Matchups to Avoid

San Francisco 49ers D/ST vs. Denver Broncos
Carolina Panthers D/ST vs. Green Bay Packers
Cincinnati Bengals D/ST vs. Indianapolis Colts
