Week 7 PPR WR/TE Sleepers
As we come to the end on week 6 in this NFL season, injuries are starting to affect fantasy teams all around. With teams on their bye weeks as well, it is my job to give you the best advice for up and coming receivers and tight ends that can help fantasy owners in PPR format leagues. As everyone knows, WR and TE are very important to fantasy owners in PPR leagues. This makes it crucial to find those under the radar guys during waivers each week. Don't miss out on the next big stud.
Heading into week 7
All players on my list are owned in less than 30% of ESPN Leagues
Odell Beckham Jr. - Wide Receiver - New York Giants (12.2% owned)
With the recent loss of star receiver Victor Cruz, look for Mr. Beckham to become an even more important piece to this Giant's west coast system. With a key division rival matchup this week against a hot Dallas Cowboy's team, look for Beckham to be used often in the return game for punts as well. This is another way for you fantasy owners to rack up some points. Odell is going to be used often this week which can lead to some major points. Give this electrifying receiver a chance this week as he is bound for a solid start. There is a reason why this guy was the Giant's 1st round selection this year in the draft.
Malcom Floyd - Wide Receiver - San Diego Chargers (4.2% owned)
Mr. Floyd continues his solid season for the chargers. Adding another 103 yards and a touchdown to this year's total, Floyd will look to keep it going against a struggling Chiefs squad. It amazes me how Malcom is only owned in 4.2% of leagues. Like why? He continues to get double digits in fantasy points this year and is one of the top targets for one of the best QB's in the league this year in Phillip Rivers. Every game Phillip seems to take shots deep down the field with the 6'5 wide receiver. Look for Malcom to continue his solid season. Give him a shot this week as a solid flex option for you fantasy owners.
Andre Holmes - Wide Receiver - Oakland Raiders (6.6% owned)
In the last two games, Andre Holmes has racked up 9 catches for 195 yards and 3 touchdowns. The raiders seem to be looking his way a lot more now and he has gained the trust of the raider quarterbacks. Yes, cardinals won't be an easy task to face but look for Andre to get plenty of targets which gives you a better chance for points. He has great size as well to compete against a corner like Cromartie. Look for another possible solid game by Andre Holmes.
Clay Harbor - Tight End - Jacksonville Jaguars (1% owned)
Owners who are desperately trying to find a tight end this week should give Clay Harbor a look. Mr. Harbor has gotten at least 70 yards in 2 of his last 3 games which gives him a solid shot in getting some nice numbers this week against the Browns. The Jaguars continue to have no run game this season so they have to put the ball in the air. Look for Blake to hopefully find Harbor in the red zone this week and some passes down the field. Clay could be a solid sleeper option this week.
Jace Amaro - Tight End - New York Jets (1.6% owned)
The jets continue to struggle as a team this year. Look for the patriots to jump out to a solid lead which will force the jets to throw the ball. Jace Amaro is one of Geno's favorite targets and with receivers busy with Revis and possible Brandon Browner, look for Jace to get plenty of targets this week. Jace will look to match his solid week against the Broncos which is very possible. Give this guy a shot this week if you really need a tight end.
Owen Daniels - Tight End - Baltimore Ravens (28.1% owned)
Joe Flacco has been on fire at late. Why not take a chance on his tight end this week against the Falcons? Owen has been a little inconsistent this season so far but with a hot raven's offense, Owen is worth giving a shot. The ravens do like to throw the ball plenty inside the red zone so look for Flacco to target Owen inside the 10 yard line and on the goal line off of play action which the ravens do so well.
