Update: Fake Teams is looking for a few writers

If you like to write, and have a passion for fantasy baseball, we are looking for a few new writers to add to our staff of fantasy baseball writers this offseason. Read on for more on the position.

UPDATE: I apologize for not getting back to those who have shown interest in the open positions. I should have time to review each of the fan posts submitted already.

Those of you who have not submitted a fan post, please do so as soon as possible.

I will try to make a decision by this weekend or early next week. Thank you for your patience.

I am looking to add to our fantasy baseball coverage and am looking for a few fantasy baseball writers for the upcoming season.

Here are details of what I am looking for:

  • experienced writers who have a passion for fantasy baseball
  • have the ability to contribute on a consistent basis, preferably 2-3 articles per week
  • be open to working according to a set schedule
  • be able to write based on topics assigned to you at times

I will be upfront and say this is not a paid position, but it eventually can be. But writing for Fake Teams has its advantages. Several of our writers have gone on to write for sites such as SB Nation Fantasy Football, SB Nation's Seattle Seahawks site Fieldgulls, Rotoworld Fantasy Basketball and recently, Baseball Prospectus. So, you are getting some serious exposure to not only our readers, but also the fantasy community as a whole.

Please email me with your interest, and post a fantasy related fan post as well. The fan post will give me an idea as to your ability to put your thoughts into an article that will be read by over 4,000 Fake Teams readers.

Note: you will have to register with Fake Teams to post a fan post. I recommend you use your real name as your login name, in case you are selected to be added to the team of writers.

In addition, I am considering adding to our English Premier League coverage, so if you are an EPL fan, please let me know and follow the steps detailed above.

I look forward to hearing from you.
