Streamer Report: Sunday's Streamers

Do you need some last minute streaming options for Sunday's games? Check out the Streamer Report daily.

Jeff Curry

The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN Yahoo leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Before I get into Sunday's streamers, let's take a look at how my picks fared on Friday:

Brandon Beachy vs Marlins - 8 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, BB, 6 K, W

Chris Capuano vs Rays - 4.1 IP, 10 H, 5 ER, BB, 3 K

Ubaldo Jimenez vs Angels - Scott Kazmir pitched on Friday.

Combined stats: 12.1 IP, 13 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 9 K, W, 3.65 ERA, 1.22 WHIP

Sunday's Streamers

Joe Kelly vs Cubs

Kelly is owned in 25.6% of ESPN leagues and faces a Cubs team that ranks 22nd in runs scored in August. Kelly is coming off a solid outing against a resurgent Dodgers lineup, limiting them to just one run on 6 hits in 5.1 innings. He has given up one run or less in five of his six starts this season.

Jose Quintana vs Twins

Quintana is owned in 24.3% of ESPN leagues at the moment and gets the Twins on Sunday afternoon. Quintana has pitched well over his last ten starts, giving up three runs or less in nine of those ten starts. The Twins are currently in the bottom third in runs scored this season, and I see Quintana pitching well today.

Martin Perez vs Astros

Perez is owned in just 10.2% of ESPN leagues and faces the struggling Astros. Perez has pitched well in his last two starts, both against the Angels, giving up three runs over 13.2 innings, giving up just eight hits, but struggling with his command, as he has walked six batters.
