Every other Sunday, I will be taking a quick look at some of the top prospects at the AAA level, including their stats for the season, and if anything stands out about the performance. The season stats may not always tell us the whole story, but there are usually also some updates on how they are doing these things as opposed to just the numbers themselves. All statistics are courtesy of Fangraphs.com and are through the games of Friday, 7/12/13.

- Craig Goldstein took a look at a potential DH candidate for the Orioles in Henry Urrutia.
- We saw A's prospect Grant Green promoted to the Majors recently, and John Sickels provided us with a look at him. It's looking more and more like this is one prospect I am going to end up wrong about.
- Kenneth Arthur asked what happens if Oscar Taveras doesn't turn into the prospect we all think he will be?
- I took a look at a potential call up candidate, Diamondbacks' prospect Chris Owings.
- Ben Carlsey over at the Dynasty Guru asks why no one is talking about Nick Castellanos. I'm of the opinion that Castellanos is up sometime between now and the trade deadline, either as the every day left fielder or as a bit of a showcase for a team that might be interested in acquiring him.
- David Coleman of The Crawfish Boxes goes in depth as to why we should not worry about the pile of strikeouts that top prospect George Springer is racking up. Springer is already at 26 home runs and 28 stolen bases between AA and AAA.

- Jarred Cosart was called up to make his debut on the 12th, and pitched extremely well, making it into the 9th inning and recording his first win. The Crawfish Boxes have their impressions of his first start, and Ray Guilfoyle weighed in as a part of Saturday's Roto Roundup.
- Brian Creagh took a look at recent call up Danny Salazar, and why you should be wary of buying in for the rest of the season. John Sickels took a look at him over at Minor League Ball as well.
- Danny Hultzen has been shut down with shoulder problems again, and I'm starting to wonder when we could actually see the former top pick in Seattle.
