New, 4 comments

Do you need some pitching streamers for Thursday's MLB matchups? Check out the Streamer Report for your daily streaming selections.

Patrick McDermott

The Streamer Report provides you with daily starting pitching streamer selections for owners who prefer to stream pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent career record vs the opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a solid matchup.

Before I get to the streaming options for Thursday, here is how my streaming selections performed on Tuesday:

Ricky Nolasco vs Diamondbacks - 7 IP, 4 H, ER, 0 B, 5 K, W

Dan Straily vs Pirates - 6.1 IP, 2 H, ER, 3 BB, 7 K, W

Jhoulys Chacin vs Padres - 6 IP, 5 H, ER, 2 BB, 4 K, L

Dillon Gee vs Giants - 6.2 IP, 9 H, 5 ER, 5 BB, 3 K

Combined stats: 26 IP, 20 H, 8 ER, 10 BB, 19 K, 2 W, L, 2.77 ERA, 1.15 WHIP

Jason Marquis vs Giants

Marquis is owned in 19.6% of ESPN leagues and faces the Giants on Thursday. I will continue going against the Giants until they break out of their hitting slump. In 15 career starts vs the Giants, Marquis is 7-5 with a 2.93 ERA and 1.077 WHIP.

Jake Westbrook vs Cubs

Westbrook is owned in 22.3% of ESPN leagues and faces the Cubs in Chicago on Thursday night. Westbook is coming off one of his best starts of the season in his last outing, where he limited the Marlins to one run on 3 hits in 7 innings. In 10 career starts vs the Cubs, Westbrook is 6-2 with a 3.72 ERA and 1.328 WHIP.

Mark Buehrle vs Indians

Buehrle is owned in 5.2% of ESPN leagues and faces off against the Indians on Thursday. He is coming off his best start of the season where he shut out the Twins for seven innings on six hits and five strikeouts.
