The Streamer Report provides you with daily streaming starting pitcher selections for the fantasy owner who likes to stream starting pitchers in leagues with no innings cap. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either have a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a good matchup.
Before I get to this weekend's streamer selections, let's take a look at how my Thursday streamers performed:
Dan Straily vs White Sox - 7 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 K
Wily Peralta vs Phillies - 5 IP, 7 H, 5 ER, 4 ER, 2 K, L
Combined stats: 12 IP, 13 H, 9 ER, 6 BB, 5 K, L, 6.75 ERA, 1.58 WHIP

Saturday
Rick Porcello vs Indians
Porcello is owned in just 8.7% of ESPN leagues, but has pitched better than his 5.21 ERA this season. He has given up 3 runs or less in seven of his ten starts this season, and owns a stellar 47-11 strikeout to walk rate in 57 innings on bump thus far. Remove his blowup start on April 20th vs the Angels, and his ERA drops to 3.83 and his WHIP falls to 1.12.
Shaun Marcum vs Marlins
Marcum is owned in 2.5% of ESPN leagues and faces the run-deficient Marlins lineup at home on Saturday. After failing to go five innings in his first four starts, Marcum has gone at least six innings in each of his last four starts, two of which were quality starts vs the Braves and Cardinals. He has alternated good starts with bad starts over his last four, and is now due for a good start after giving up four runs in his last outing.
Update: The Mets game on Friday night was rained out, so Matt Harvey moves to Saturday, and Marcum will be skipped.
Update (9:24 Friday evening)
Erik Bedard vs Royals
Bedard is owned in under 1% of ESPN leagues, and faces a struggling Royals lineup on Saturday night. Bedard has pitched well recently, giving up two runs or less in five straight starts, lowering his ERA from 8.20 to 4.76.
Sunday
Tom Koehler vs Mets
For some reason, Koehler is not owned in any ESPN league, yet owns a 3.70 ERA and 1.16 WHIP and gets to face a Mets team that ranks 23rd in runs scored on Sunday. Koehler has given up three runs or less in four of his five starts thus far.
A.J. Griffin vs White Sox
Griffin is owned in 36.7% of ESPN leagues and will face the White Sox who ranked 28th in runs scored this season. He has given up three runs or less in eight of his twelve starts this season, and owns a solid 3.67 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 76 innings thus far.
Bronson Arroyo vs Cardinals
Arroyo has six wins with a 3.38 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP this season, yet is owned in just 25.3% of ESPN leagues. Arroyo has given up three runs or less in eight of his twelve starts thus far, and is coming off an eight shutout inning performance vs the Rockies in his last start.
