Every other Wednedsay, I will be taking a quick look at some of the top prospects at the Low-A level, including their stats for for the season, and if anything stands out about the performance. The season stats may not always tell us the whole story, but there are usually also some updates on how they are doing these things as opposed to just the numbers themselves. All statistics are courtesy of Fangraphs.com, and are through the games of Monday, 6/3/13.
The South Atlantic League announced their all star rosters on Tuesday, with players in bold going to the game on June 18th. The Midwest League will be playing their game on the 18th as well, but rosters were not announced as of early Tuesday morning. The next update for the Low-A level will also include some brief notes about the starting Short-Season leagues, including the Appy, NY-Penn, Northwest, Pioneer, Arizona, and Gulf Coast Leagues.
