Every other Sunday, I will be taking a quick look at some of the top prospects at the AAA level, including their stats for the season, and if anything stands out about the performance. The season stats may not always tell us the whole story, but there are usually also some updates on how they are doing these things as opposed to just the numbers themselves. All statistics are courtesy of Fangraphs.com and are through the games of Friday, 6/28/13.

- Rob Rogacki over at Bless You Boys asks when should the Tigers call up 3B/OF prospect Nick Castellanos? Seems to me that if he can be a better left fielder than what they have been running out, they're better served with him in the Majors at this point.
- Craig took a look at Reds' speedster Billy Hamilton, and how he has been doing so far at AAA this year.
- Over the Monster took a look at how Xander Bogaerts and a couple other prospects have done recently at AAA Pawtucket.
- Among the player moves this week, Oscar Taveras went back on the disabled list with a reaggravated a high ankle sprain, but it sounds like he is expected to be ready in time for the Futures Game.
- In the past two weeks. we saw Brad Miller called up, Will Middlebrooks and Tony Sanchez demoted back, and Jonathan Singleton was activated.
