Streamer Report: Monday's Pitching Streamers

Do you need a starting pitcher to stream on Monday? Check out the Streamer Report for your daily streaming selections.

Jim McIsaac

The Streamer Report provides you with daily streaming starting pitcher selections for the fantasy owner who likes to stream starting pitchers in leagues with no innings cap. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either have a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a good matchup.

Before I get to Monday's streamer selections, let's take a look at how my streamers performed on Friday and Saturday:

Friday

Rick Porcello vs Twins - 7 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 5 K, W

Bronson Arroyo vs Brewers - 7.2 IP, 12 H, 2 ER, BB, 5 K

Jake Westbrook vs Marlins - 5 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, BB, 0 K, L

Saturday

Jon Niese vs Cubs -5.2 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 4 BB, 5 K, L

A.J. Griffin vs Tigers - 6 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, L

Tom Koehler vs Cardinals - 4.2 IP, 8 H, 9 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, L

Combined stats: 36 IP, 45 H, 19 ER, 10 BB, 21 K, 1 W, 3 L, 4.75 ERA, 1.53 WHIP

Monday's Pitching Streamers

Dillon Gee vs Braves

Gee is owned in just 3.5% of ESPN leagues and is looking to continue his streak of quality starts vs the Braves on Monday night. Gee has given up just one earned run in each of his last three starts, lowering his ERA to 4.84 from 6.34. He owns a 26-3 strikeout to walk rate over his last 21 innings, and that bodes well for him vs the Braves lineup that strikes out a ton.

Dan Straily vs Rangers

Straily is owned in 9.5% of ESPN leagues and faces the Rangers in Texas on Monday night. The Rangers are slumping of late, and Straily has pitched well of late, so Straily would appear to be a solid choice. Straily has given up two runs or less in four of his last five starts.
