Streamer Report: Friday's Streaming Pitchers

Do you need a starting pitcher to stream on Friday? Check out the Streamer Report for your daily streaming selections.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

The Streamer Report provides you with daily streaming starting pitcher selections for the fantasy owner who likes to stream starting pitchers in leagues with no innings cap. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either have a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a good matchup.

Before I get to Friday's streamer selections, let's take a look at how Wednesday's streamers performed:

Jorge De La Rosa vs Nationals - 5.1 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 5 K, L

Jordan Lyles vs Mariners - 7 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 10 K

Dan Straily vs Yankees - 6.2 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, BB, 3 K, W

Combined stats: 19 IP, 10 H, 5 ER, 6 BB, 18 K, W, L, 2.37 ERA, 0.84 WHIP

Rick Porcello vs Twins

Porcello is owned in just 16.3% of ESPN leagues, and should be owned in more. Porcello seems to have figured things out this season, as he is 3-3 with a 4.86 ERA and 1.22 WHIP, but has pitched better than his surface stats indicate. He has given up three runs or less in eight of his eleven starts this season.

Bronson Arroyo vs Brewers

Arroyo is owned in 32.9% of ESPN leagues and faces the Brewers at home on Friday night. Arroyo has pitched very well this season, giving up three runs or less in nine of his thirteen starts this season. In 27 career starts vs the Brewers, Arroyo is 14-10 with a 3.75 ERA and 1.24 WHIP.

Jake Westbrook vs Marlins

Westbrook is owned in 8.1% of ESPN leagues and gets the Marlins and their league worst run scoring lineup on Friday night. Westbrook is making his first start since May 8th, but has pitched well this season. He has given up three runs or less in all six of his starts this season.
