Streamer Report: Thursday's Streaming Pitchers

Do you need a starting pitcher to stream on Thursday? Check out the Streamer Report for your daily streaming selections.

Hannah Foslien

The Streamer Report provides you with daily streaming starting pitcher selections for the fantasy owner who likes to stream starting pitchers in leagues with no innings cap. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either have a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a good matchup.

Before I get to Thursday's streamer selections, let's take a look at how Monday's streamers performed:

Gerrit Cole vs Giants - 6.1 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 0 BB. 2 K, W

Jeremy Hefner vs Cardinals - 6 IP, 8 H, ER, BB, 2 K, L

Tony Cingrani vs Cubs - 7 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, BB, 5 K, W

Andrew Cashner vs Braves - 8 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, BB, 5 K, W

Combined stats: 27.1 IP, 25 H, 7 ER, 3 BB, 14 K, 3 W, L, 2.31 ERA, 1.02 WHIP

Thursday's Streaming Pitchers

There are only nine games on the slate on Thursday, with several aces on the mound, including Cliff Lee, Yu Darvish, Adam Wainwright, Matt Harvey, Jeff Samardzija and Mat Latos, so the pickings are slim.

Kevin Gausman vs Boston

Gausman will be pitching to stay up with the Orioles after his last start. Even though he will be facing a tough Red Sox lineup, I am willing to go with Gausman here. He has given up 19 runs in 19.1 inning across his four major league starts thus far, including giving up 5 home runs.

Kevin Correia vs Phillies

Correia is owned in just 2.5% of ESPN leagues and will face the Phillies at home on Thursday night. The Phillies lineup ranks 23rd in runs scored this season. Correia enters the start with a 5-4 record with a 4.11 ERA and 1.32 WHIP.
