Streamer Report: Friday's Streaming Pitcher Targets

Ray Guilfoyle offers his streaming starting pitchers selections for Friday's MLB action.

Jim Rogash

The Streamer Report provides you with daily streaming starting pitcher selections for the fantasy owner who likes to stream starting pitchers in leagues with no innings cap. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either have a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a good matchup.

Before I get into Friday's streaming pitcher selections, here is how my selections for Wednesday's games performed:

Chris Tillman vs Nationals - 4.2 IP, 8 H, 6 ER, BB, 4 K, 4 HRA

Bronson Arroyo vs Indians - 5.2 IP, 8 H, 5 ER, BB, 3 K, 2 HRA, L

Kyle Kendrick vs Red Sox - 6 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 2 HRA, W

Combined stats: 16.1 IP, 20 H, 13 ER, 5 BB, 10 K, 8 HRA, W, L, 7.27 ERA, 1.53 WHIP

Friday's Streamer Selections

Corey Kluber vs Rays

Kluber is owned in exactly 1% of ESPN leagues, and faces the Rays at home on Friday night, Kluber has given up three runs or less in five of his six starts this season, and owns a 23-1 K-BB rate in his last three starts, covering 19 innings.

Julio Teheran vs Nationals

Teheran ownership is increasing of late, as it is up to 40.6% in ESPN leagues, and for good reason. Teheran has given up three runs or less in each of his last six starts, and is now 3-1 with a 3.67 ERA. After giving up 5 HRs in his first 16 innings this season, he has given up just 3 in his lsat 40.1 innings, so he appears to have learned how to keep the ball in the park.
