Streamer Report: Thursday's Streamer Targets

Ray Guilfoyle offers his streaming selections for Thursday's MLB games.

David Banks

The Streamer Report provides you with daily streaming starting pitcher selections for the fantasy owner who likes to stream starting pitchers in leagues with no innings cap. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either have a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a good matchup.

Before I get into Thursday's streaming pitcher selections, here is how my selections for Tuesday's games performed:

Jarrod Parker vs Giants - 7 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, BB, 4 K, W

Jorge de la Rosa vs Astros - 7 IP, 5 H, ER, 2 BB, 4 K

Kevin Gausman vs Nationals - 4 IP, 8 H, 7 ER, BB, 0 K, L (ouch)

Combined stats: 18 IP, 18 H, 10 ER, 4 BB, 8 K, W, L, 5.00 ERA, 1.22 WHIP

Thursday's Streamer Selections

Jason Vargas vs Dodgers

Vargas is owned in 32.1% of ESPN leagues, and is home to face the Dodgers on Thursday night. Vargas has pitched well of late, giving up two runs or less in five of his last six starts, and owns a 3.43 ERA this season.

Andrew Cashner vs Mariners

Cashner is owned in 22.1% of ESPN leagues and is home to the Mariners on Thursday night. Cashner is 4-2 with a 3.38 ERA and 1.22 WHIP this season, and has given up three runs or less in five of his seven starts this season.

Ricky Nolasco vs Rays

I am going to continue to ride Nolasco while he is pitching well, and he is still owned in just 5.9% of ESPN leagues. Nolasco has given up one run in three of his last four starts and owns a 3.65 ERA and 1.14 WHIP this season.
