The Streamer Report provides you with daily streaming starting pitcher selections for the fantasy owner who likes to stream starting pitchers in leagues with no innings cap. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either have a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a good matchup.
Before I get into Tuesday's streaming pitcher selections, here is how my selections for Sunday's games performed:
Julio Teheran vs Mets - 6.2 IP, 5 H, ER, 3 BB, 5 K
Nick Tepesch vs Mariners - 5.2 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, BB, 6 K
Jason Marquis vs Diamondbacks - 3.1 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 4 BB, 2K
Combined stats: 15.2 IP, 17 H, 7 ER, 8 BB, 13 K, 4.02 ERA, 1.64 WHIP
Here are my streamer selections for Tuesday's MLB games:
Jorge de la Rosa vs Astros
JDLR is owned in 21.3% of ESPN leagues and gets to face the Astros in Houston on Tuesday evening. He has given up three runs or less in seven of his ten starts this season, and owns a solid 3.40 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP.
Jarrod Parker vs Giants
Parker is owned in 24.3% of ESPN leagues and will be home to face their crosstown rival Giants on Tuesday night. Parker has been a disappointment this season, but is showing signs that he is over his early season struggles of late. He has given up three runs or less in four of his last five starts, and has gone seven innings in each of his last two starts.
Kevin Gausman vs Nationals
I just want to see Gausman vs Bryce Harper to see who wins that battle. Gausman pitched ok in his first major league start, giving up four runs on seen hits in five innings, striking out five and walking two.
