  • Nolan Fontana has been hitting very well at High-A Lancaster, but the Crawfish Boxes makes the case to keep him there for the full season.
  • Courtney Hawkins and Austin Hedges remain on the disabled list after two weeks, while Nick Delmonico and Delino Deshields were both activated this week.
  • There have been rumors that the Twins plan to promote Miguel Sano to AA following the High-A All-Star game, although it's always hard to tell whether the Twins will move a prospect quickly, even when it is one as dominant on one side of the game as Sano.
  • I'm really curious at this point what is going on with Trevor Story, and am wondering if there may be an injury of some sort that we're not aware of.

  • Aaron Sanchez was placed on the disabled list, but it's not clear yet exactly what the injury is.
  • Craig Goldstein wrote earlier this week about Nationals' pitching prospect Robbie Ray, who is second in the High-A level with 64 strikeouts.
  • The Twins promoted pitcher D.J. Baxendale to AA on Saturday
  • Rainy Lara of the Mets and Eddie Butler of the Rockies were both promoted into High-A this week. I posted a profile of Butler as well.
  • Pirates' pitching prospect Nick Kingham keeps plugging along in Bradenton, sporting an excellent 61:13 K/BB ratio, and I'm curious if he could be in line for a promotion as well.
