The Streamer Report: Tuesday's Starting Pitcher Targets

Ray Guilfoyle offers his streaming pitcher selections for Tuesday's games.

Rich Schultz

The Streamer Report provides you with daily streaming starting pitcher selections for the fantasy owner who likes to stream starting pitchers in leagues with no innings cap. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either have a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a good matchup.

I did not give out any streamer picks for Sunday's games, so here are my streamer selections for Tuesday's MLB matchups:

Corey Kluber vs Tigers

Kluber is owned in just 03% of ESPN leagues and gets to face an excellent Tigers lineup on Tuesday night, yet, I am going to go with Kluber. Why? Because a lot has gone right for the Indians this year as they sit in first place with a 25-17 record at the moment, and sometimes you just have to ride the hot teams. Kluber is 3-2 with a 5.40 ERA and 1.41 WHIP, but has given up 3 runs or less in four of his five starts this season.

Jon Niese vs Reds

Niese is owned in 42.1% of ESPN leagues, and faces the Reds at home on Tuesday night. Niese has struggled of late, but ptiched well in his last start, giving up just 2 runs in 7.1 innings in St. Louis. Niese has given up 3 runs or less in six of his nine starts this season, and will look to make that seven of ten on Tuesday night.

Bud Norris vs Royals

Norris is barely owned in ESPN leagues (4.4%) but gets to face the Royals at home on Tuesday night where he owns a 20-15 record with a 3.39 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 53 career starts. Norris has given up two runs or less in six of his nine starts this season, while the Royals rank 24th in the majors in runs scored this season.
