The Streamer Report provides you with daily starting pitcher streaming options for Monday's games. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who have a decent track record vs their opponent.
Before I get to Monday's streamer options, here is how Saturday's selections performed:
Travis Wood vs Marlins - 6 IP, 3 hits, 2 ER, BB, 5 K, W
Felix Doubront vs Astros - 6.2 IP, 4 hits, 3 ER, 4 BB, 8 K, W
Jake Westbrook vs Pirates - 6 IP, 6 hits, 0 ER, 6 K, ND
Combined stats: 18.2 IP, 13 hits, 5 ER, 5 BB, 19 K, 2 W, 2.47 ERA, 1.26 WHIP
Note: due to Friday's rainout, Jeremy Guthrie's start was moved from Saturday to Sunday.
Here are my streamer selections for Monday:
Ted Lilly vs Rockies
In 14 career starts vs the Rockies, Lilly is 10-2 with a 3.92 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. In 31 career starts at Dodger Stadium, Lilly is 15-11 with a 3.71 ERA and 1.043 WHIP. Lilly pitched well in his first start vs the Mets, and gets a Rockies team that historically does not play well on the road.
Jose Fernandez vs Mets
Fernandez gets the Mets at home on Monday, and will do his best to repeat his performance vs the Mets in his major league debut. In that start, Fernandez went 5 innings, giving up a run on just 3 hits, a walk and 8 strikeouts. He will look to bounce back from two rough starts in a row, where he has given up 9 earned runs on 12 hits in 9 innings.
Wade Davis vs Indians
Davis will also be looking to bounce back after giving up 7 runs, 3 earned, on 8 hits in 3.2 innings in his last outing. He has sandwiched two bad starts around 2 excellent starts. In 6 career appearances vs the Indians, including 2 starts, Davis is 2-0 with a 2.89 ERA and a 1.125 WHIP.
Reminder: feel free to post any questions you may have with regard to the streamer selections, trade offers, who to start/bench, etc. You do not have to wait for a fantasy chat to post your questions here or on the Roto Roundup.
