I got home late from Baltimore last night, so I was not able to post The Streamer Report last evening. I will be back to posting these at 7pm every night going forward.
The Streamer Report provides you with some streaming starting pitching options for Monday's MLB games. The report will identify starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues.
Before getting to Monday's action, I want to review how my streaming picks worked out on Friday.
Wandy Rodriguez vs Braves - 7 IP, 1 hits, 0 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, W
Jason Hammel vs Dodgers (Friday's game postponed, stats from Saturday's game) - 6 IP, 7 hits, 4 ER, 3 BB, 5 K, ND
Lucas Harrell vs Indians - 5.2 IP, 5 hits, 2 ER, 5 BB, 4 K, W
Combined totals, 18.2 IP, 13 hits, 6 ER, 8 BB, 14 K, 2 W
Here is a look at Monday's streaming pitcher selections:
1. Mike Leake vs Cubs
Leake is 4-2 with a 3.56 ERA and a 1.215 WHIP in 10 career starts vs the Cubs. He is coming off a 7 shutout inning performance vs the Phillies last week.
2. Kevin Correia vs Marlins
The Marlins have scored a league worst 43 runs in 19 games, so they are averaging just over 2 runs per game. Correia has gone at least 7 innings in each of his three starts this season, giving up 3 runs or less in each of those three starts.
3. Joe Blanton vs Texas
I am going back to the well with Blanton, who is pitching at home vs the Rangers. In 9 career appearances at Angels Stadium, Blanton is 2-4 with a 3.38 ERA and 1.313 WHIP.
