1. Sergei Bobrovsky - Columbus Blue Jackets (G)
Stopped 30 shots in a 3-0 win over the Detroit Red Wings for his first career shutout. The Blue Jackets have now won four straight games with this young man between the pipes for all of them
2. John Tavares - New York Islanders (C)
Scored his 16th and 17th goals of the season, both via the powerplay. Aside from that managed six shots on goal to go with an even rating. Perhaps the most highly touted junior player to come since Sidney Crosby, he's taken his game to yet another level this year after notching his first ever 30-goal campaign last year.
3. Vladimir Sobotka - St. Louis Blues (C)
Notched first career hat-trick, including one powerplay goal. He's on one of the hottest lines in the league right now with six of the Blues' top nine forwards out of the lineup. Ice-time has increased, get him while he's hot.
4. Alexander Semin - Carolina Hurricanes (RW)
1 goal (PP), 2 assists a plus-1 rating. He and teammate Jiri Tlusty had the chemistry clicking and it certainly doesn't hurt to have Erik Staal centering the line while putting together a bounce back year in his own right. Once labeled a coach killer, Semin is proving the NHL and fantasy owners he can be consistent and it showed Saturday.
5. Slava Voynov - Los Angeles Kings (D)
3 Assists and a plus-1rating in a 6-2 win over the Flames. After managing 8 goals and 12 assists as a rookie last year, has four goals and 12 assists with a plus-11 rating in just 23 games this year. Looking like a fantasy stud for years to come.
