1. Jakub Voracek - Philadelphia Flyers (C)
4 goals, 7 assists and a plus-3 rating is a good month for most players and Voracek did that in four games. A hat-trick against the Penguins and a four assist night against the Islanders sure helped. He has 19 points in 13 games this month and is absolutely on fire. (He had two more points against the Leafs Monday).
2. Wayne Simmonds - Philadelphia Flyers (RW)
3 goals and 4 assists this week and now has a four game point streak going. He also managed three fights and 17 PIMs which probably went a long way in helping fantasy owners win that category in head to head leagues.
3. Claude Giroux - Philadelphia Flyers (C,RW)
Like Simmonds, he managed a point in every game this week, and unlike Simmonds, this is much more like it for fantasy owners who drafted him in the first round. He's the leader of the team and should keep things rolling now that Hartnell is back and the team is starting to win.
4. Niklas Kronwall - Detroit Red Wings (D)
2 goals and 4 assists to go with a plus-5 rating in the Wings' last two games of the week account for all of his production, so not the most consistent week as far as streaks go. That said, he's fourth on the team in scoring, not too bad for a defenseman.
5. Brayden Schenn - Philadelphia Flyers (C, LW)
Had a 5 game point streak snapped this past week but still managed 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points. After just 18 points in 54 games with the Flyers last year, he's got 17 in 19 this year (not including Monday's game against Toronto). Like Voracek, it seems like he's coming into his own.
6. Evander Kane - Winnipeg Jets (LW)
Extended his point streak to 7 games and has a goal in each of his last 3 contests, including a beauty against the Devils on Sunday night. The streak is the second longest of his career and a great sign considering the Jets as a team aren't exactly setting the world on fire so far this season. Fortunately, the same can't be said for Kane, who just kept on rolling this past week.
7. Steven Stamkos - Tampa Bay Lightning (C)
Extended his current point streak to 6 games and 6 goals and 5 assists in four contests this past week. Now leads the league in goals (13) and points (29). Good to know he's up to his usual tricks for fantasy owners who were lucky enough to have a top 5 draft pick this season.
8. Damien Brunner - Detroit Red Wings (C,RW)
A four-point night in an 8-3 blowout win against the Vancouver Canucks sure helped the cause. Before Voracek came along, he was probably the biggest surprise of this shortened NHL season and fantasy owners who snatched him off of the waiver wire early are reaping the rewards.
9. Matt Moulson - New York Islanders (LW)
Shutout in the first two games of the week, he managed to end the week on a three game point streak, including three goals and three assists. 23 points on the year rank him ninth in the league to this point. He's got a sweet scoring touch and plays with Tavares, which should make his fantasy owners quite happy the rest of the year.
10. Pavel Datsyuk - Detroit Red Wings (C,LW)
Put together another one of his famous Datsyukian Deke type goals against the Nashville Predators on Saturday. Although he had a 5 game point streak snapped this past week, he got right back on the scoreboard to finish strong over the weekend. He's got 10 points in his last eight games and continues to show why his peers once voted him the most skilled player in the league.
