- Fernando Rodney - Storybook season, repeat is going to be impossible. Draft wisely.
- Mariano Rivera - The G.O.A.T. if he proves healthy, he will be #1 in no time flat.
- Joe Nathan - Great teams are anchored by a great bullpen, Texas has a lot of power arms with proven closer.
- Joel Hanrahan - Worrisome peripheral numbers are alarming. Will get every opportunity to fail in Boston.
- Tom Wilhelmsen - "The Bartender" keeps serving up saves, puns are fun.
- Greg Holland - I have seen other sites already planning his demise and replacement. I don't see it unless an injury happens.
- Addison Reed - Look past the ERA, he has a track record of getting people out in the minors and his core numbers, the one's you don't always read are what matters.
- Jim Johnson - Great season last year, I just am not a full believer in it again. Will get ya 30 saves but don't know what cost.
- Ryan Madson - Already having a wonky elbow, he is the closer when he is ready to go.
- Chris Perez - Could be a lot higher in a month or two, great save numbers. Other numbers make babies cry and women shriek.
- Casey Janssen - Team is win now mode and will have a lot of pressure from Santos and the rest of the AL East.
- Grant Balfour - Pitched good then bad then good. The good at the end of the year is what matters right now.
- Glen Perkins -
- Ernesto Frieri - Will get his fair share of early looks until Madson is ready.
- Vinnie Pestano - My favorite no closer in the history of anything. Periph stats are a fantasy helper.
- David Robertson -
- Bruce Rondon - Early pre-season love for him being the closer. I think he will lead the team in saves but won't be a consistent ride in the saves driver seat.
- Jose Veras - The best on the worst, its veteran's preference in Houston.
- Kelvin Herrera - Flame thrower is a Greg Holland injury away from showing his stuff.
- Phil Coke - I see him being the save guy out of the gate in Detroit. Will be used more of a situational guy later on.
- Joel Peralta - Top holds guy that seems like he goes everyday. Great K numbers and periph numbers aren't too shabby.
- Joaquin Benoit - Three Tigers in the top 25, because saves are a never ending chase. All three will get 12+ saves.
- Ryan Cook - Waiting in the wings for Balfour to stumble, made the AS team last year after shining in that position last year.
- Jake McGee - After Vinnie he is my second favorite RP. Numbers and stuff is there for him to be elite.
- Sergio Santos - Is Casey Janssen's wingman. Coming back from injury may limit his work early.
HM - Joakim Soria - Is waiting in the wings for 2 things to happen, health and a Nathan slip up. One of the best next year handcuffs in all of the closer/relief pitching rankings.
