Here is a quick post to let you know about some of the prospect lists that have been, or are about to be published over the next few weeks.
Earlier this week, MLB.com published their Top 100 Prospect List for 2013, and here is their top 10:
1. Jurickson Profar, SS, TEX
2. Dylan Bundy, SP, BAL
3. Oscar Taveras, OF, STL
4. Wil Myers, OF, TB
5. Taijuan Walker, SP, SEA
6. Travis d'Arnaud, C, NYM
7. Jose Fernandez, SP, MIA
8. Zack Wheeler, SP, NYM
9. Gerrit Cole, SP, PIT
10. Tyler Skaggs, SP, ARI
I am a little surprised that Skaggs was rated as a Top 10 prospect by Jonathan Mayo here, ahead of guys like Billy Hamilton, Miguel Sano and Xander Bogaerts, who I feel are a bit more deserving, but that is just because I like hitting prospects more than pitching prospects.
Speaking of Top 100 lists, ESPN's Keith Law will be publishing his Top 100 Prospect List on Tuesday, so look for that early next week:
Starts Monday with org rankings. Top 100 runs Tuesday. RT @xmetsmatician: @keithlaw When's your top 100?

If you are looking for Dynasty League position rankings, look no further than Bret Sayre's lists over at his site The Dynasty Guru. He has already published his Top 150 Dynasty League Prospects for 2013, and is in the middle of his Top 50 Position rankings, having published his catcher, first base, second base, shortstop and third base lists through Thursday.
Paul Sporer recently wrote a guest post here on Fake Teams, and he is in the middle of writing up one player per day in his Countdown to Spring Training Series. You can check out all of his work at paulsporer.com. You can also pre-order his 2013 Starting Pitcher Guide here. You can order it for just $9 if you order before Valentine's Day.
If you like reading scouting reports, make sure you head on over to Mike Newman's new site, ROTOScouting.com. There he will his first-hand scouting reports, video, interviews and he will also be publishing a newsletter that you can subscribe to here. Check it out as the newsletter is free for now, but will go to a pay model in the near future.
For those of you looking for a prospect book to purchase, make sure you consider John Sickels' The Baseball Prospect Book for 2013, which will be shipping shortly, but there is still time for you to buy it, so head on over to his site here.
Lastly, Bret, Craig, Jason and I are participating in a slow mock prospects draft with such prospect and fantasy illuminaries as John Sickels, Mike Newman, Jason Catania, Spencer Schneir, Ben Carsley, Nick Shlain, Josh Shepardson, JD Sussman and Derek Carty. It is a 12 round, 13 team mock draft, and we are currently in the middle of the 5th round of the draft. We will be publishing the results of the draft once it is completed.
