Through the first three rounds, I have targeted hitters who have the potential to hit for a high average and put up a 20 home run, 20 stolen base seasons, and that didn't change in round four. My fourth round pick was Rangers outfielder Alex Rios, who didn't reach the 20 home run level in 2013, he was two home runs short, but stole 42 bases. Some might think I picked him too early, but I see a 20-20 season from him in 2014, hitting in the solid Rangers lineup and hitters park in Arlington.

A few picks I liked in round four included Nabae taking King Felix at #48 overall, Dan Schwartz taking Wil Myers with teh first pick in the fourth round, and Alex Kantecki's pick of Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer at #42 overall. I think Hosmer will build on his solid performance over the last four months of the 2013 season. You can't go wrong with Felix Hernandez anchoring your staff, and I think he provides solid value here. As you can tell, there haven't been too many starters taken through the first four rounds, as most owners have focused on drafting hitters early.

The one pick I would pan in this round would be Manny Machado at #39 overall. He suffered a bad knee injury at the end to the season and will probably start the season on the DL. It would not surprise me to see him miss the first month and a half or longer.
