All Of Your Questions Answered: Fantasy Hockey Q&A

FakeTeams' Resident Hockey Expert is Here to Answer All of Your Questions

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Hey guys, this week is hectic for me with school and exams (university, right?) so this week I'll just do a straight Q&A to help everyone out.  Need help with a trade?  Thinking of picking someone up?  Want me to rate your roster?  Post it below and I'll answer each and every question you guys have.

Some quick notes to pass along:

  • Steven Stamkos is progressing well from the broken fibula he suffered on November 11, and should return before the season is up.  For those of you in leagues where he has been dropped or is being sold for cheap, pick him up as he will be a great benefit come fantasy playoff time.  And who knows, he may even come back sooner than expected.
  • If you're battling the injury bug in net and need a quick fix pick up Marek Mazanec of the Preds.  With Rinne still on the shelf and Carter Hutton being, well, Carter Hutton, Mazanec has taken the starting job in Nashville and has done an adequate job.  Factor in that they play a relatively easy week with games against Pheonix, Columbus, Edmonton, and Philadelphia, and Mazanec should have a good week and put up some decent numbers.
  • I wish I had time today, but I'll definitely bring up Brad Marchand in the sell category next week.  Marchand is struggling this season on Boston and I don't think his play will rebound to what it was last season.  He is shooting less and seeing virtually no time on the powerplay, and despite decent 5v5 play his numbers are weak across the board.  If you have him rostered look to trade him to someone who still sees the potential in him this season.

Again, if you've got any questions ask below.
