SB Nation and Comcast XFinity are teaming up with The Extra Point series where we will pick two players at the same position and ask you who will have the better fantasy week. Last week we asked you who would throw more Red Zone touchdowns: Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III. RG3 was the runaway winner after leading the Redskins to a big road win in New Orleans.
Week 2 of the NFL season is now upon us, and we're going to take a look at the top two wide receivers in fantasy football: Lions WR Calvin Johnson and Falcons WR Julio Jones.
Many fantasy experts think Jones can overtake Johnson as the No. 1 wide receiver in fantasy this season, and he certainly put the pressure on Calvin in Week 1. Jones beat the injury-depleted Kansas City Chiefs defense for 2 touchdowns on 6 receptions and 108 yards receiving in Week 1, while Johnson did not get into the endzone, but did catch 6 of his 7 targets for 111 yards in the Lions comeback win over the St. Louis Rams.
Johnson gets the unenviable task of going up against the tough San Francisco 49er defense on Sunday Night Football, while Jones will be at home against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.
Which WR will score more RedZone touchdowns in Week 2: Calvin Johnson or Julio Jones?
