This coming week is as symmetrical as a week gets during the MLB season. The last week of interleague play dictates that each team gets either Monday or Thursday off, meaning that we have exactly 30 pitchers expected to start twice during the week. Since the pool is shallower than normal, you may want to consider making an extra transaction or two to fill out your allotted starts this week.

As always, a Google Spreadsheet has been provided so that you may sort to your heart's content. I've included statistics known to stabilize at 150 and 200 total batters faced (TBF): K%, GB%, and LD% for the first group, and FB% and GB/FB for the second. I've also included ERA, xFIP, and ERA-xFIP for reference. Ratings range from 0.5 to 5. They are subjective and based on perceived skill level, current and expected performance, park factors, and offenses faced. These are not rest of season ranks. Rather, the ratings represent how I think pitchers will do in a small sample size and in a specific context. This is a risky proposition, as Pick 6 players know, and the science is even more inexact when thinking about games a week away.

In order to view the entire table, make sure you are viewing this page in "wide" mode. You may switch modes via the gray box in the upper right corner of the page. As always, starting pitchers are subject to change.
