SB Nation and XFINITY are teaming up in The Extra Point Poll series where we will pick two players at the same position and ask you who will have the better fantasy week. Last week we asked you which running rback would rush for more yards, Darren McFadden or DeMarco Murray. Murray ran 14 times for 93 yards vs the reeling Baltimore Ravens defense, good for a 5.3 yards/carry. The downside is he did not score a touchdown and left the game with a foot injury, and is expected to miss Week 7, and possibly more. McFadden took the rock 27 times for 70 yards but reached paydirt.
In this week's Extra Point Poll presented by XFINITY, we will take a look at two wide receivers who are ranked in the Top 5 in Philip Beanblossom's Week 7 Wide Receiver rankings: Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson and Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
Johnson and Marshall face off against each other in Chicago on Monday night football. Johnson has been a bit of a disappointment this season as he has scored just one touchdown, but is ninth in receptions with 35 and fourth in yards with 558. Marshall is currently tied with Johnson with 35 receptions, and is 10th with 496 yards receiving, but has scored three touchdowns thus far. Lions quarterback Matt Stafford has struggled this season, and apparently his throwing mechanics are off, and goes up against the Bears defense that has intercepted 13 passes this season and scored five touchdowns. Marshall has become the favorite receiver for quarterback Jay Cutler, and goes up against a Lions defense that has stuggled on the road so far.
Which wide receiver will have the most yards receiving in Week 7: Calvin Johnson or Brandon Marshall?
