Wow. The Buffalo Bills are now 3-0. Many of us are surprised and a large part in them being undefeated heading into Week 4 is Ryan Fitzpatrick. He is playing lights out. Fitzpatrick has thrown for 841 yards and 9 touchdowns through the first three games. Something very interesting is that he has only been sacked once this season. He is showing confidence and leadership for the Bills, I just wish he was the quarterback for my team.
I also have to give recognition to Joe Flacco. He passed for 389 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Rams. When he limits his mistakes and turnovers, he is a force to be reckoned with. Flacco gets a much stronger test this Sunday, when the New York Jets pay a visit. Keep an eye on him, as he could set new career highs in yardage and touchdowns.
Matt Hasselbeck passed for over 300 yards for the second week in a row. Although, the Titans were dealt a huge blow when Kenny Britttore up his knee. If the rest of the Titan receivers step up, Hasselbeck should continue to be productive. And if the right matchup comes along, he could have a nice game.
Full rankings follow the jump.
Quarterbacks to start: Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buffalo) - I say if a quarterback is hot than stick with him. The Bills travel to Cincinnati and I think he'll have another good game.
Eli Manning (NY Giants) - Eli passed for four touchdowns against the Dream Team's vaunted defense. He gets a much easier opponent this week with Arizona on tap. I can see Manning finally going over 300 yards passing in this game.
Jay Cutler (Chicago) - The Bears will be hosting Carolina on Sunday and I think Cutler will have a nice bounce back game here. He did go over 300 yards against Green Bay but also had 2 interceptions.
Quarterbacks to avoid: Kerry Collins and Curtis Painter (Indianapolis) - This situation is not getting any better. Collins received a concussion against the Steelers and may miss this Sunday. Painter came in and made some nice plays but the Pittsburgh defense also capitalized on his miscues. Not a good matchup as they travel to Tampa.
Andy Dalton (Cincinnati) - The inexperience is beginning to show in Dalton, as seen against the Niners last week. It would be best to take a chance on someone else this weekend.
