2011 Fantasy Football Rankings: Dukeallstar's Kicker Rankings - Aug. 12

Kicker is the position that most care the least about in fantasy football and it shows as we wait until the last round to pick one. Although, the thing is we all need one to complete our fantasy lineup. Statistics have proved that the difference between the No. 1 kicker and the No. 10 kicker is about a point or two per week. So, if you're in a highly competitive league, like most of us are, you need the one that will give you the one or two points that could be the difference between winning and losing.

Tier 1

1. Sebastian Janikowski - Oakland Raiders

Janikowski has tremendous leg strength.

2. Stephen Gostkowski - New England Patriots

He kicks for a high powered offense.

Tier 2

3. Nate Kaeding - San Diego Chargers

Kaeding also plays in a productive offense.

4. Neil Rackers - Houston Texans

He is a consistently accurate kicker.

5. Josh Brown - St. Louis Rams

Brown has good leg strength.

6. Mason Crosby - Green Bay Packers

He has solid leg strength.

7. Matt Bryant - Atlanta Falcons

Bryant is extremely consistent.

8. Nick Folk - New York Jets

His accuracy has been an issue in the past.

9. Alex Henery - Philadelphia Eagles

Henery has a strong leg.

10. Garrett Hartley - New Orleans Saints

He has a strong leg.

11. Rob Bironas - Tennessee Titans

Bironas has a big leg.

12. Dan Carpenter - Miami Dolphins

He has a strong leg.

13. Adam Vinatieri - Indianapolis Colts

Vinatieri was the most accurate kicker in the AFC last season.

14. Billy Cundiff - Baltimore Ravens

He was accurate last season.

Tier 3

15. David Buehler - Dallas Cowboys

Buehler has a strong leg.

16. Shaun Suisham - Pittsburgh Steelers

He is reliable from short distances.

17. Robbie Gould - Chicago Bears

Gould has been accurate.

18. Josh Scobee - Jacksonville Jaguars

He is mediocre from midrange.

19. Connor Barth - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Barth's long distance accuracy leaves a lot to be desired.

20. Lawrence Tynes - New York Giants

He kicks for an offense that can put points on the board.

21. Jay Feely - Arizona Cardinals

Feely is a reliable kicker.

22. Matt Prater - Denver Broncos

He is reliable for the Broncos.

23. Ryan Succop - Kansas City Chiefs

Succop took a step back in 2010.

24. Olindo Mare - Carolina Panthers

He is a strong option if you're looking for accuracy.

25. Phil Dawson - Cleveland Browns

Dawson is coming off a fine season.

26. David Akers - San Francisco 49ers

He is a solid kicker.

27. Jason Hanson - Detroit Lions

Hanson is an accurate kicker.

28. Ryan Longwell - Minnesota Vikings

He is limited by the Minnesota offense.

29. Graham Gano - Washington Redskins

Gano's accuracy is an issue.

30. Rian Lindell - Buffalo Bills

He kicks in a tough environment.

31. Mike Nugent - Cincinnati Bengals

Nugent has questionable accuracy.

32. Jeff Reed - Seattle Seahawks

He has a very limited upside.
