Fake Teams Hitting the Fantasy Links

Here's a look at Friday's fantasy links of interest. As you read this, I will be hitting the links myself as I will be golfing, and drinking and smoking stogies, starting at noon. Wish me luck.

John Sickels writes about Met's pitching prospect Matt Harvey in his Prospect of the Day over at Baseball Nation and Minor League Ball.

Baseball Nation's Rob Neyer writes about yet another walk off HR from Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp and wonders if Kemp will be given that opportunity again in the near future.

Rotowire's Dalton Del Don with his must-read weekly MLB Notes article where he discusses Jose Tabata and Jose Bautista, among others.

More fantasy links of interest after the jump:

Fangraph's Dave Cameron offer his thoughts on the move by MLB to take control of the Dodgers. A new owner by the end of the year would be tremendous.

Rotographs Mike Axisa tells fantasy owners they should look to drop Brad Hawpe, Dan Johnson and James Loney now. I assume this is for deep mixed leagues, but these guys are rosterable in 10-12 team Only leagues.

Rotohardball's Michael Barr writes about the hot start that Pirates starter Kevin Correia has had this year. But he says don't count on it continuing and offers solid reasoning for his stance.

Rotoprofessor looks at Lonnie Chisenhall, Kyle Gibson and Devin Mesoraco and thinks Mesoraco could make a Geovany Soto-like impact in two catchers leagues this season.

Will Overton from Rotoprofessor writes about several former impact guys who are finding new life in 2011.

Scott Engel for writes about the "Cold Corner" discussing the cold starts from several third baseman this year, and offers his thoughts on guys like Pedro Alvarez, David Freese and Pablo Sandoval.

Doug Anderson from offers his thoughts on a few players who are off to cold starts, including Jacoby Ellsbury, Mike Stanton, Matt Thornton and a few others.

John Sickels writes about a few prospects in his Minor League Notes at Minor League Ball yesterday including Brandon Wood, Louis Coleman, and Adeiny Hechevarria.

Rotoworld's DJ Short addresses this week's free agent options in his Waiver Wired: This Week's Top MLB Pickups. D.J. Short analyzes this week's top waiver wire gems for AL-only, NL-only and mixed leagues.
