Fake Teams Hitting the Fantasy Links

Here are Wednesday's fantasy links of intererst:

John Sickels writes about Royals first base prospect Eric Hosmer in his Prospect of the Day over at Baseball Nation and Minor League Ball. Hosmer is making the case to be called up later this year.

Rotographs Eno Sarris provides his updated outfielder rankings after the first three weeks of the season.

Fangraphs Joe Pawlikowski takes a look at the Giants decision to send rookie Brandon Belt to the minors once Cody Ross is activated from the DL on Wednesday.

More fantasy links of interest after the jump:

Rotoprofessor says that fantasy owners should stay patient with Pirates third baseman Pedro Alvarez and ride him through this slump. I agree. In the minors, Alvarez struggled after each promotion to a higher level, but then got things going at the plate. This time is no different.

Baseball Nation's Rob Neyer talks about Rays outfielder Sam Fuld, who is quickly becoming a Tampa Bay legend, according to Neyer. Like I said, fantasy owners have to ride Fuld while he is playing everyday.

Baseball Nation's Rob Neyer says that even though the Colorado Rockies sent third baseman Ian Stewart back to Triple-A, it shouldn't be for long. I am not so sure, but I agree that Stewart is the long term answer at third base for the Rockies.

Paul Sporer from Baseball by Paul provides a list of middle relievers fantasy owners should target including Aaron Crow and Michael Dunn, among others.
