I went back and forth on whether to keep Jansen at $10 since he isn't closing....yet. I think he will be closing in LA by midseason, if not sooner. I don't have much confidence in Jonathan Broxton after his implosion last year. And, from what I read, neither do people making decisions in LA.

With my offense, I think my keepers will produce 200+ HRs, around 750 RBIs, and around 120 SBs, if my projections are accurate. My closers have questions marks, but have a feeling the Nationals will eventually go to Storen at some point this season. I think Kimbrel eventually wrests the closer job in Atlanta, and Jansen has a good shot at taking over the closer spot in LA. I think Broxton will be on a very short leash after his horrific second half last year.
I have concerns about Padres starter Mat Latos, but had to keep him at $10. I think Jimenez is one of the top starting pitchers in the NL, but decided not to raise him. I had to keep Diamondbacks starter Dan Hudson as he was a FAAB buy last year, but think he is worth the $5 salary.
There are plenty of solid players available in the 2011 draft, including Albert Pujols, Hanley Ramirez, Troy Tulowitzki, Matt Kemp, Justin Upton, Matt Holliday, Tim Lincecum, Chris Carpenter, Matt Garza, Zack Greinke, and several closers, among others.
My keepers leave me with $90 to spend on 9 players, so I will have to be smart on draft night-this Friday night in NYC-but that will be tough after throwing back a few cold ones before the draft. I will report the results of my draft this weekend.
