Colorado Rockies 2012 Top 10 Prospects List | Baseball Instinct - Do You Have It?
"And there is more good news coming out of the AFL where the young third basemen received glowing reviews for his defense from Stu Cole, Arenado’s manager for the AFL’s Rising Stars game who now believes they may have an above average glove in-the-making at the hot corner." -
Boston Red Sox 2012 Top 10 Prospects List | Baseball Instinct - Do You Have It?
"Bogaerts’ power potential gives him a chance to become a player with a high offensive ceiling. Going into 2012 what I would want to see is how his hit tool will develop. Judging by this year alone his hit tool doesn’t look to be more than average." -
Milwaukee Brewers 2012 Top 10 Prospects List | Baseball Instinct - Do You Have It?
"Jed Bradley has a good grasp of how to pitch for his young age. We expect that he’ll move through the system rather quickly and help the Brewers rotation in the next 2 years." -
Oakland Athletics 2012 Top 10 Prospects List | Baseball Instinct - Do You Have It?
Zonis over at Athletics Nation wrote up a majority of this list, and here's his take on #3 prospect, Grant Green: "Green’s move to the outfield has been a success thus far, and the A’s hope he can be their everyday Center fielder of the future. Green reportedly had good range at Shortstop, but was extremely errant in his throwing. Instead of testing Green out at Third, where such a defensive flaw might still persist, the A’s moved Green to the outfield. If Green can have a good year, offensively and defensively, in Sacramento, he could be up mid-season 2012." -
Chicago White Sox 2012 Top 10 Prospects List | Baseball Instinct - Do You Have It?
Their thoughts on #2 Addison Reed: "Chris Sale part deux? It sure seems that way. Clearly, with the White Sox dealing Santos and pushing Sale to the rotation they feel that they have the real deal in Reed. You fantasy baseball types out there may want to remember this come auction/draft day or make a push for trading for him in those keeper leagues with farm systems." -
Philadelphia Phillies 2012 Top 10 Prospects | Baseball Instinct - Do You Have It?
Their thoughts on their #1 prospect, Trevor May: "May still has significant upside and time to develop. He won’t be needed in 2012 and will have the entire season to work on repeating his delivery which should solve some of the command issues. He’s going to be a mid rotation innings eater with above average K numbers. That’s what I said heading into the 2011 season and I’m sticking with it." -
Boston Red Sox Top 20 Prospects for 2012 - Minor League Ball
"2) Matt Barnes, RHP, Grade B+. Has the build and stuff of a rotation anchor, and improved every year in college. Still some rough edges and he won't get to the majors as fast as Trevor Bauer or Danny Hultzen, but he could be a real steal at 19th-overall in the '11 draft." -
Top 15 Prospects: Philadelphia Phillies | FanGraphs Baseball
"May has the potential to develop into a No. 2 starter – especially if he commands his fastball at the major-league level. He has the frame to become an innings-eater." -

San Diego Padres Top 20 Prospects for 2012 - Minor League Ball
"2) Rymer Liriano, OF, Grade B+: You can make a case to rank him above Rizzo, although they are very different players. Five Tool/Seven Skill potential is obvious, and he made strides with the strike zone last year. Scouts love him and the numbers are catching up."
San Diego Padres 2012 Top 15 Prospects - Bullpen Banter
"The San Diego Padres have done a great job of accumulating talent over the last few seasons, giving the system one of the deepest groups of quality prospects in baseball. Whether they have an elite talent depends on how much you believe in Casey Kelly."
New York Mets 2012 Top 15 Prospects - Bullpen Banter
The guys over at Bullpen Banter released their top 15 for the Mets with, not surprisingly, Matt Harvey and Zack Wheeler at the top.
Toronto Blue Jays 2012 Top 15 Prospects - Bullpen Banter
"Still, Toronto boasts one of the deepest systems in baseball. The number of quality prospects may be the most evident thing about the system, but they also their share of elite or near-elite talents at the top."
Baseball Prospectus | Future Shock: Pirates Top 11
"Cole's arsenal matches up with any young pitcher. His fastball sits in the mid- to upper-90s, and it consistently reached triple digits over the last year. He throws a plus-plus slider with heavy horizontal and vertical break. He also developed a changeup in college that flashes plus, and could be a consistent plus pitch with more use. His mechanics have also improved significantly from his high school days."
