Fantasy Football 2011: Week 9 Kicker Rankings

All 28 kickers for Week 9 ranked following the jump.

Kickers to start: John Kasay (New Orleans) - Kasay has been averaging close to 10 points a game for New Orleans. While the team ran into a speed bump last week, I think they will bounce back this week against Tampa Bay. Kasay will benefit as a result and kick for double digit points.

David Akers (San Francisco) - With San Fran on a hot streak, Akers has benefited. In his last three games, he has scored 31 points and one field goal was over 50 yards. Washington is weak, so make sure to start Akers.

Rian Lindell (Buffalo) - Lindell had started to cool down but last week bounced back with an 11 point game. The Jets may be holding the Buffalo offense to field goals and that will benefit Lindell.

Kickers to avoid: Graham Gano (Washington) - San Francisco has really been stifling offenses and Washington got shut out last week. It might happen again, stay away from Gano.

Alex Henery (Philadelphia) - Philly has a tough matchup with Chicago. I like Henery but think he would be better off being left on your bench this week.

Phil Dawson (Cleveland) - Cleveland has been struggling on offense so much that even Dawson has not seen many opportunities. The Houston defense has been strong, so rest Dawson in week 9.
