Fantasy Football 2011: Week 9 Tight End Rankings

Your First-Half TE MVP is...
Your First-Half TE MVP is...

Prior to the 2011 Fantasy Football season, most experts urged their readers not to reach for a Tight End in the draft due to the value you could find throughout the draft. Why reach for a Gates or a Finley when you can grab a Graham, Gronkowski or Hernandez 5-8 rounds later? As of the fantasy season's mid-point, those experts proved to be correct (I mean they are experts after all) as 15 Tight Ends are in the Top 100 Rank for standard leagues. The most notable names missing from the top 100 are Antonio Gates and Dallas Clark, 2 of the top fantasy Tight Ends coming into the season. If you waited on Tight End, odds are your TE spot has been relatively consistent.

After the jump, we'll have TE Mid-Season Awards and Week 9 Ranks...
