Fantasy Hockey 2011: Saturday Starting Backup Goalies (UPDATE)

Not as many games being played today as usual since most were played yesterday from the Thanksgiving day off. Still, it's a good opportunity for you to keep track of who's starting in front of the net and who is not for your team. This is a list of backup goalies who have been confirmed to start today.

Al Montoya, Islanders vs. Devils - Well, Montoya isn't really a "backup" but more like in a timeshare with Rick DiPietro but Montoya has pretty go stats against the Devils but he hasn't recorded a win.

Sergei Bobrovsky, Flyers vs. Rangers - Bobrovsky has played only a couple of games against the Rangers but he's done a good job each time.

UPDATE

Devan Dubnyk, Oilers vs. Avalanche - He's played four games against the Avalanche has done very well against them. Considering the Avs have been struggling lately, he might make a nice pickup in same-day transaction leagues.

Jacob Markstrom, Panthers vs. Mathieu Garon, Lightning - The rookie goaltender of the future comes back with the team but unfortunately, we have no record to go by on whether he's a good play or not. Garon has had a good record against the Cats but they are playing red hot so be careful playing him if you have to.

UNCONFIRMED

Ray Emery, Blackhawks vs. Kings - Again, this is unconfirmed but it sounds like Emery may start tonight. He's only played two games against the Kings and did a good job against them. So there.

That's all I have at this time because of the early games being played around noon so there will very likely be an update sometime this afternoon with the rest of the lineups being posted for this evening's games.
