Here's another edition of the backup goalies confirmed to start today so it can help make roster decisions on which goalies to start and perhaps maybe make a same-day transaction to help boost your stats, depending on the league.

Cory Schneider, Canucks vs. Wild - Sounds like Schneider has a great track record against the Wild. If you're in same-day transaction leagues, he's worth a pickup if he's available.

Evgeni Nabokov, Islanders vs. Panthers - It's a goalie mess but Nabokov gets the call tonight but he has good stats against the Cats. Worth a pickup if you're in deeper formats.

Ty Conklin, Red Wings vs. Capitals - Just a heads up for those who have Jimmy Howard more than I would suggest picking up Conklin. Washington is red hot and I can't suggest using him.

Mathieu Garon, Lightning vs. Sabres - Another one I can't recommend since the Sabres are red hot too.

Steve Mason, Blue Jackets vs. Senators - He's got a good record against the Senators but still...blech.

Nikolai Khabibulin, Oilers vs. Rangers - He has a decent record against the Rangers but that's about it.

UPDATE

Andrew Raycroft, Stars vs. Kings - He'll finally give the stone wall that is Kari Lehtonen a breather.

Brian Boucher, Hurricanes vs. Jets - He has a decent record against the Jets / Thrashers.

UNCONFIRMED

I will be unavailable this evening but the only unconfirmed backup goalie starting is Brian Elliott of the Blues vs. Flyers. Again, this is UNCONFIRMED but it sounds like there were mumblings that he may start tonight and continue to spell Jaroslav Halak (sigh).

This will likely get updated as news develops so check back later on. (I'm all done with the info) Also, don't forget to to follow @FakeTeams and @MattPTurner on Twitter if you have any fantasy hockey questions!
