I was checking out Jim Callis' twitter account on Saturday and came across this interesting trade discussion involving Cardinals outfielder Colby Rasmus:

Both #Braves, #Cardinals might be tempted by that. @AnnanPatel: Mike Minor and Randall Delgado for Colby Rasmus...fair deal?

With the recent reports that Colby Rasmus and Tony LaRussa aren't seeing eye to eye, and Rasmus' rumored trade request, would the Cardinals be tempted by this trade offer? I would think so. And the Braves would have their centerfielder of the future in Rasmus. The Braves could make this deal and still have several solid pitching prospects left in their farm system, namely Julio Teheran and Arodys Vizcaino.

Minor would fit in nicely behind Adam Wainwright and Chris Carpenter, and Delgado is probably a few years away. Delgado went 7-12 with a 3.30 ERA, 1.099 WHIP, and a 162-52 K/BB rate in 161 innings pitched between High A and AA this season.
