John Sickels posted his Top 20 Kansas City Royal Prospects for 2011 over at his site-Minor League Ball. After a quick review of the Top 20, you can tell John REALLY likes the Royals farm system as he assigned A ratings to the Royals top 3 prospects, and assigned a 4th prospect with an A- rating.

Here is what he had to say about the Royals top prospect Mike Moustakas:

1) Mike Moustakas, 3B, Grade A: This guy is really damn good. I believe he can stick at third base, so he ranks ahead of Hosmer just barely.

Moustakas went 36-124-.322-.369-.630 at AA and AAA in 2010 and tied for the minor league HR title.  I think some question his home/road splits and wonder if he is legit or possibly Alex Gordon II. We'll find out in 2011.

Head on over to Minor League Ball and check out the rest of the Royals Top 20 Prospects for 2011.
