Jonathon Mayo over at MLB.com posted his top 50 prospects for 2010 on Wednesday. Here is his top 25:
Rank | Name | Team |

| Stephen Strasburg | WAS |
| Mike Stanton | FLA |
| Buster Posey | SF |
| Brian Matusz | BAL |
| Desmond Jennings | TB |
| Neftali Feliz | TEX |
| Pedro Alvarez | PIT |
| Justin Smoak | TEX |
| Madison Bumgarner | SF |
| Carlos Santana | CLE |
| Alcides Escobar | MIL |
| Wade Davis | TB |
| Domonic Brown | PHI |
| Dustin Ackley | SEA |
| Brett Wallace | TOR |
| Kyle Drabek | TOR |
| Martin Perez | TEX |

| Starlin Castro | CHI |
| Christian Friedrich | COL |
| Tim Beckham | TB |
| Logan Morrison | FLA |
A couple surprises for me in this list is how low, in a relative way, that Yankee's prospect Jesus Montero was ranked by Mayo. Mayo included Jarrod Parker in his top 25 even though he will be out for the 2010 season recovering from Tommy John surgery.
Toronto Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopolous is on the right track after trading for #16 prospect Brett Wallace and #17 prospect Kyle Drabek this offseason. Drabek was included in the Roy Halladay deal with the Phillies.
Mayo did say that this list was published before the Reds signed Cuban pitching prospect Aroldis Chapman. He said he would have ranked Chapman around #24.
