Welcome Faketeam's New Writers

New, 2 comments

I want to thank all of those who responded to my inquiry for another writer here at Faketeams. Going into this process, I planned on adding only one writer, but based on the response I received, and the background and experience of the respondents, I decided to make this a larger effort.

I knew going into this that Faketeams needed another baseball writer, someone with AL or mixed league experience, to add more content to the site. But then, based on one of the respondents, I thought that Faketeams readers could benefit from someone focusing on minor leaguers. Finally, one of the respondents had AL/mixed league experience, but also is well-versed in writing fantasy football articles. This move was not to step on the excellent efforts that Skeller has made to Faketeams over the last few years.

So I decided to add 3 writers to Faketeams-Bryan Everson, Jeremy Kempter and Ian Youhanna. All three have previous blog-writing experience, and I look forward to working with them going forward.

Bryan and Ian will focus on, but not be limited to, AL/mixed league fantasy baseball articles, while Jeremy will focus on, but not be limited to, minor leaguers. Bryan will also write weekly fantasy football articles for Faketeams. I will continue to focus on NL articles, while throwing in trade rumor articles in the offseason.

As for the others who responded, I thank you for your inquiry, as the decisions were not easy. Feel free to post a fanpost or fanshot, as we regularly promote them to the front page of Faketeams. Bryan recently started posting fanposts here at Faketeams and communicated his interest soon after my inquiry. I also started writing fanposts before I started writing with Eric here at Faketeams.

Please welcome Bryan, Jeremy and Ian to Faketeams.
