Yesterday, I posted an article saying that pitchers who keep the ball in the yard, judged by their HR/9 ratio, was just as important as K/9 or K/BB when it comes to evaluating pitchers. This post lead to several interesting comments where a few posters stated they prefer to look at K/BB ratio and HR/FB ratio.
So today, I present to you the top NL starting pitchers based on K/BB ratio and HR/FB ratio.

The HR/FB ratio list yields a very similar list to the HR/9 list I posted yesterday. The K/BB list also provides some valuable insight into what stats fantasy/roto players should focus on prior to and during their 2010 drafts. I will continue to utilize these ratios going forward as they all-HR/9, K/BB and HR/FB-gives the fantasy/roto owner plenty to ponder come 2010.
But, all 3 lists yield several pitchers that roto/fantasy owners may not draft until very late in their drafts, or possibly not be drafted, in 2010.
