Preseason Fantasy Rankings: Quarterbacks 11-20

Happy Independence Day!  Let's talk rankings!!

I think the second batch of QBs are always the hardest -- you have some guys that will surprise and end up in the Top 10 and some guys that will be huge busts.

11

Roethlisberger, Ben

PIT

Great NFL quarterback, overrated fantasy quarterback.  I would hate to have to count on him week in and week out.

12

Romo, Tony

DAL

Unless Jason Witten catches 210 passes this season, I don't see how Romo matches last year's stats.

13

Hasselbeck, Matt

SEA

Don't look now, but the Seahawks have some actual WRs and a new Head Coach. If Hasselbeck is really as healthy as he says, watch out.

14

Schaub, Matt

HOU

OK, THIS is the year he breaks out.  OK, then how about THIS year?  Uh, maybe THIS year?

15

Cassel, Matt

KC

We'll see how much of 2008 was due to the world-class Patriots offense and how much was due to Cassel.

16

Palmer, Carson

CIN

He's no Houshmandzadeh, but Laveranues Coles will be happy to catch everything Palmer throws at him.

17

Cutler, Jay

CHI

Cutler is a talented QB, but his top 2 WRs in Denver (Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal) were better than anybody he has in Chicago right now.

18

Manning, Eli

NYG

42% of the team's receiving yards left in the off-season.   Who is going to make up that production?

19

Pennington, Chad

MIA

The addition of WR Patrick Turner should help.  The emergence of WR Ted Ginn would do much more than help.

20

Hill, Shaun

SF

He went 5-1 as a starter for the final six games of last season.  No, really, look it up.  If he gets the starting nod in training camp, he'll be a sleeper only because nobody will expect anything from him.  This ranking is assuming he wins the starting job.
