After cruising through 5 innings tonight against the St. Louis Cardinals, Chad Billingsley completely blew up in the 6th inning leaving with 2 out in the 6th trailing 6-0. In 5 2/3 innings, Billingsley gave up 6 runs on 4 hits and 6 walks, two intentionally.
Recent reports have the Dodgers focusing on Orioles closer George Sherrill, but I have to think there is renewed interest in either Roy Halladay or Cliff Lee after Billingsley's 3rd poor showing in his last 4 starts. Other reports say that there has been internal discussion over whether or not to deal Billingsley.
