Saturday's Roto Roundup: Lidge, Papelbon Blow Saves

Saturday's round up is highlighted by blown saves by two of the best closers in baseball.

CL, Brad Lidge, PHI-Lidge blew his 3rd save of the season, and his ERA is approaching 8.00. Lidge owners should grab Ryan Madson if he is still available. Lidge gave up a game tying HR to ARod and a  game winning double to Melky Cabrera.

CL, Jonathon Papelbon, BOS-Papelbon served up the game winning HR to back-up catcher Omir Santos after striking out two hitters in a row.

CL, Francisco Rodriguez, NYM-K-Rod could land on the DL with back spasm,s.

RP, J.J. Putz, NYM-Putz closed out the Mets come from behind win on Saturday. K-Rod owners may want to grab Putz should KRod land on the DL.

SP, J.A. Happ, PHI-Happ held his own in his first major league start, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits in 6 innings. He struck out 4 and walked none. He can be picked up in NL only leagues.

3B, Mark Derosa,CLE-Derosa hit his 7th HR of the season, and now has 30 RBI on the season. He can certainly help any team looking to trade for him, hear me Omar? The Cubs have to be kicking themselves after dealing him in the offseason.

SP, Clayton Richard, CWS-Richard won his 1st game of the season, as he shutout the Pirates for 6 innings, striking out 8 and walking 3. Richard was involved in the rejected deal for Jake Peavy.

SP,Ross Detwiler, WAS-Detwiler gave up just one hit an one run in 6 strong innings, striking out 6 and walking 4. Detwiler has had two strong outings in a row.

C, Joe Mauer, MIN- Mauer went 3 for 3 and hit his 9th HR of the season. In 77 ABs, he has 9 HRs, 28 RBI, and is hitting .429, with an OBP over .500 and an OPS over .800. Wow.
