My First Fantasy Baseball Team Of 2009

Yahoo!'s autodraft went off last night, and here is the first team in 2009 that I will be following.  What I do once I am notifying my team has been drafted is quickly scan the roster for to get an impression, then try to figure where I drafted.  After that, who is getting dropped.

Overall, the roster is veteran solid on hitting.  Pitching is "weak" in the sense there are no top starters or closers.  Good or bad?

While Josh Hamilton was my 1st pick in the 9 hole, I immediately saw Matt Wieters at catcher and knew I had to add a catcher from the pool in the event Wieters begins in AAA.  Additionally, I noted 2B Chase Utley and thought a similar thought.

Chone Figgins' 2B-eligibility covers me at 2B and allowed me to drop Kaz Matsui to pick-up a favorite of mine, Minnesota Twins OF Carlos Gomez.  At catcher, I went with everyday Oakland A's catcher Kurt Suzuki in an effort to preserve AVG and gather some Runs while I await Wieters super-two to pass.

I wanted to add Gomez for the SB despite Figgins, Ichiro and McLouth because my infielders have no speed.  What will I tally there on the season?  25 SBs?

That is a quick and dirty analysis of my first autodrafted team.  What would you have done/do?
