Week Two Answers: Oakland Raiders 23 Kansas City Chiefs 8

Q: Is the Oakland defense really as bad as it showed in Week One?
A: Not at all.  How the defense went from horrific against the Broncos to shut down against the Chiefs can't all be explained by the HUGE difference in their opponent's offenses, can it?

Q: Can Kansas City take advantage if it is?
A:
We won't know because starting QB Damon Huard left with a head injury and was replaced by Tyler Thigpen.  I am prone towards answering "no" though.  The Broncos rushed for 141 yards as a team.  The Chiefs ground attack, led by Larry Johnson, managed a meager 55 yards - 21 of which came on two QB runs.  LJ is getting paid all that money for that?

Fantasy Player To Watch: RB Michael Bush.  If Justin Fargas misses time, Bush could get significant time in the rush-dependent Oakland offense.
