Matty I of The Phinsider brings you fantasy tips for the Miami Dolphins.
Miami Dolphins Best Fantasy Player:
This is a tough one just because it’s unclear how the snaps will be divided. But right now, based on preseason performance, I’d say RB Ricky Williams is Miami’s best fantasy player with Ronnie Brown behind him. Brown is still coming back from his torn ACL, though he should be ready for Week One. He’ll likely be eased in with Ricky getting a bulk of the carries. So far this preseason, Williams looks as close to the Ricky of old as I’ve ever seen. He could easily be a 1,000 yard back with 7 or 8 touchdowns sprinkled in.
Miami Dolphins Fantasy Sleeper:
Without a doubt, the fantasy sleeper on the Fins is Ted Ginn Jr. Sure, he’s only entering his 2nd season and didn’t exactly have a great rookie year. But his route running has improved, and the acquisition of Chad Pennington seems to have changed Ted Ginn. The pair already have undeniable chemistry on the field despite playing together for 2 weeks. I could easily see Ginn becoming Pennington’s new “Laveranues Coles” – meaning Ginn could put up numbers similar to Coles’ numbers in his first year with Pennington throwing to him (89-1264-5). And a few return touchdowns will be sprinkled in along the way.
